"Les petites rues de Singapour" is a Jay Alansky's composition . An exotic song recorded in Belgium in 1982 .Here is the original version and an english version found on the radio .A lovely song .
Miss B.Haven are coming from Danmark .
I loved this song named "Making love in the snow" recorded there on the radio in July 1988.The video version is not as good as the original version of 1988.
Leonard Cohen's cover of the beautiful song "Avalanche" .In french .Recorded in 1991 and published in 1993 on the Lp called "Face nord".Magnificent cover .
Dear all , I submit you today a bunch of songs I've recorded them on the radio in 1986/88 .The trouble is that I don't know anything about them .So I need your help to help me to resolve that kinda QUIZ . Here we go
Here are below a couple of songs I've recorded on the radio ( Couleur 3) in 1988 .I only have the names but that's all .If you have more materials about those bands , don't hesitate to contact me .
The first one is the Wild Ones with a song I've recorded in September of 1988.
Sorry if the songs are sometimes cuted .I had that bad habit ....
I have the single but the sound is now getting so bad that I post here a video of "Primitif" by Richard Gotainer , a talented composer coming from the advertising world .

I've always loved the sonic storm that was "L'amourir" by The Young Gods , swiss band . Powerfull and impressive ! This song was at first a single which has been integreted in the LP called 3eau rouge" published a few years later
Yes why not Robert Plant ? "Pictures at eleven" is his first solo album and it's really GOOD !!
With a group of young musicians led by the guitarist Robbie Blunt and Phil Collins on drums .
The voice is there , irreplaceable , but the sound is something completely new , more restrained , timeless in a way ....
"In the spring of 1994 I was in England and once again John Peel was kind enough to offer me a session . I was alone with the acoustic guitar , and so I called my old friend Chas Banks , who manages Teenage Fanclub , to see if they would record the session with me ." Frank Black
"Big Lupu" is a real rollercoaster : experimental songs , melodic tunes are mixed all together in this LP ."Birdy" is an absolute song ! (Featuring Jimi Tenor for some horns arrangements ).Noisier tha Boo Radleys sometimes .
A brilliant recording .
"Song for a blue guitar" is a whole world of depression and sadness to visit tenderly .Without making any noise , you'll be charmed by songs full of melancoly and the organic sound of the guitars , quite raw and natural .Neil Young is not far way from here .Sometimes clean , somtimes overdrived but always played in a "drama" way (Steel pedal inside)
Have you forgotten ? Song for blue guitar Make like paper
CATCHERS will always staying alive in my heart . I fell in love with the band thanks to songs like "Beauty N.3" or "Summer is nearly over" .Now Catchers is dead but Dale Grundle is still involved in music with a more personnal project called "The sleeping years" .The story still continues ...
MAGIC!Rpm is a famous indie pop magazine .They've published for 10 years ago a compilation celebrating 10 years of indie pop productions , mostly coming from UK and the US .
"Homegrown" is a brilliant recording , full of power pop-rock jewels made in UK ! The perfect mix of electric & acoustic guitars .Unfortunately for Dodgy , Oasis and Blur were much more popular than them but not better .
I think that "Bill" is the 1rst LP recorded by Tripping Daisy and published by Island Records .
An intensive rock , sweating melodies thanks to a powerfull drum & bass duet . Some ballads inside though .Great musicians .
Swell is good for you .Try them .Here's the single "Forget about Jesus" published in 1994 by Beggars Banquet and produced by Swell .
Forget about Jesus Forget about Dean
BONUS b-sides is an intersting comilation of b-sides , purposing alternative versions of songs in an acoustic .2 covers though : "Between us" coming from the delirious Rutles and "Who loves the sun" by the Velvet Underground .
For those who would ignore that an awesome live recording of Talk Talk exists , don't hesitate anymore and run to purchase it .Overall that it's a DVD !! Published by Eagle Vision , that DVD is a diamond ! Featuring on stage John Turnbull ( World party ) on guitar , Talk Talk was also Paul Webb on bass who shows here how he's a bass player master and the seriously involved Lee Harris on drums .Mark Hollis does his job perfectly...What a sound !!!! Huge quality of sound to be played at the maximum volume with the right equalisation !! It's very HOT and exciting !!!
Alain Chamfort used to be (and is still) a french gentleman , full of sensibility and with a great sense of melodies .He has been woking with Serge Gainsbourg in the 80's by writing lyrics or composing . His music was full of synthetisers & box rythm .It's not the case anymore currently ( 61 years old )
"Priority tunes " is a compilation made by Jo Whiley & Steve Lamacq .They were at the right place at the right moment to see emerging the whole brit-pop generation like Pulp , Oasis , Blur , Radiohead , Shed7 , Manic street preachers etc....
