Here are 2 recordings of David Lee Roth , the lead vocal of Van Halen , in a different register with the EP called "Crazy from the heat" which includes covers like "Just a gigolo" or "California girls" + "Coconut grove" .

And the same year , "Eat'em and smile" was coming out .An excellent  album , quite rock and hot , full of humor and energy . Steve Vai on guitars and Greg Bisonette on drums .....Not bad at all .

Those live recordings are coming from the box named "2001 / Collected recordings by Lloyd Cole" .From spring 1998 until summer 1999 , Lloyd Cole had decided to play at the same place and not touring at all . It was The Mercury Lounge , on Houston Street , NYC.It's a kind of cheap recording on a MD I think with only a stereo microphone putted at the bar to catch the atmospher of the place .So you can hear conversations between 2 songs .Funny .
